Ride for Resilience Tassie 2022

After a couple of years doing not much physically - thanks to COVID and the many many hours and days spent starting a new business - I am so excited to join the 'Ride for Resilience'.

I can't wait to get on the bike again for a multi-day event and a total of about 400km. I am expecting there will be a lot of pain!

The event will be held over 3 days 24th - 26th March 2022 and we'll be traversing the Meander Valley, Northern Midlands and West Tamar regions of Tasmania. We'll visit current Active Farmers communities of Hagley, Cressy and Campbell Town, visiting many other small rural communities along the way!

We all know that there is a high prevalence of mental illness in the bush and our farmers are approximately twice as likely to take their lives by suicide. This is a shocking statistic and incredibly frightening. It needs to change.
