GROWING TRAFFIC

More and more people are visiting Michael's dedicated website each month, with September figures reaching an all-time high and monthly visitor numbers more than double what they were 12 months ago.
The site experienced a peak in traffic in July 2007 when news of Michael's cancer diagnosis broke but subsequent peaks in March, coinciding with his appearance on Australian Story, and in September during the Beijing Paralympic Games have easily eclipsed that initial record.
It's been two years since website development company iasp joined Michael as his official website supplier. Their sophisticated back-end system means Michael and his manager Penni can not only post content themselves at any time, but can also create new pages, change menus, add photos and edit any of the text.
'Because we can update and control the content, the site has evolved from being simply a news service to a resource for Michael's speaking clients and a place for him to communicate personally via his blog page. It not only fulfils our current needs but has the potential to service future needs as we expand our business,' explained Penni.
