SKINS STICK WITH MILTON

One of Michael's key sponsors, Skins Compression Garments, has confirmed the company's continued support throughout his cancer treatment.
A new contract between Skins and Milton was due to be signed when Michael was diagnosed with Oesophageal Cancer at the beginning of July.
But, although Milton was prepared to downgrade Skins' commitment to reflect his own inability to service the contract, Skins management decided to maintain the relationship at the current level.
Alistair McColl, Marketing Manager at Skins, said Milton is an important part of their business and they didn't hesitate to continue their support.
'Michael is a friend and an extraordinary talent. He is a real asset to Skins and we have no doubt he will rise to the challenge and be back doing his thing sooner than we all expect.
'His diagnosis was a real shock to all of us here at Skins. I guess we all just assumed he was indestructible. We had no hesitation in signing the agreement because the relationship is already so strong and we have gained so much from it - from a personal and a business perspective. We're all pulling for him,' said McColl.
Skins will soon launch a range of cycling garments which Milton is keen to try as soon as he is well enough to get back on the bike. He expects his health to improve in the weeks before surgery and is looking forward to some light training.
