SEEING MORE OF MICHAEL MILTON THESE DAYS?

Commercial television stations around the country will air Austcare's community service announcement (CSA) featuring Michael throughout 2007.
The three major commercial networks - Seven, Nine and Ten in Sydney,
Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane have picked up the CSA which has
been spotted in high ratings programs like Sunrise. Regional stations will
also include the advertisement in
programming, as will national networks ABC, Foxtel and SBS.
It's a first for Austcare who have never before produced a television commercial and are keen to see what impact it has on their fundraising, donations in particular.
Milton is thrilled that the CSA is getting good airtime.
"Austcare helps displaced people all over the world. They develop and support a range of programs all over the world, like the clearing of landmines in Cambodia and vocational training in Kakuma Refugee Camp in Kenya.
"I am proud to be playing a role in getting the message out there and hopefully increasing awareness and donations. I can't wait to see the results," said Milton.
As an Ambassador for Austcare, Michael Milton not only assists in promoting the cause but likes to be hands-on when it comes to fundraising. He recently organised a fundraising event with the Canberra Cycling Club, raising enough cash to pay for bicycles for mine clearance workers in Cambodia.
