reACT ROOFING AND MICHAEL MILTON: TOGETHER ON TOP

Canberra's number one roofing specialists, reACT Roofing, is the latest company to sponsor Michael.

The company celebrated the new partnership with Michael and the entire reACT team before filming a new television commercial which ACT residents would have recently seen on-air.

Co-Director, Gary Reid, said reACT had Michael in mind for their new advertising campaign but a simple call for a quote to fix his roof spurred them into action.

"Michael is a great fit for our growing company. He's a real local hero with a great profile and his list of achievements is staggering. People associate Michael with success and that's important to us but he doesn't take himself too seriously," said Gary.

Established in 2000, reACT Roofing already has the lion's share of the roofing repair business in the ACT. Like Michael, the reACT team likes to keep things simple.

"We saw a need for a quality roofing repair business in the ACT and filled it. There's nothing complicated about it. We offer good prices and good service. That's it," said Reid.

Milton agrees: "I needed someone to fix my roof. After that initial phone call, it was all over within a week and I'd signed a new sponsor as well. No fuss, no nonsense."

The new reACT Roofing television commercial went to air the day after Michael was announced 2007 ACT Australian of the Year.

"We acted quickly once we found out," said Reid with a smile. "We'd finalised the partnership well before then so it was a great bonus."

The reACT sponsorship deal will see Milton featured in the company's television commercials for the next 12 months.
