Come to Life This Weekend

Posted:

You may think it more sensible for Michael Milton to take a boat to Ballarat this weekend but, rest assured, the weather reports are looking good for the Come to Life Ballarat Cycle Classic.

Over the last three years The Classic has raised more than $300,000 for the Ballarat Cancer Research Centre and this year expectations are bigger than ever with 1500 riders and up to 5000 spectators due to decsend on the southern shores of the beautiful Lake Wendouree.

There are three options for road riders - 60km, 85km and 100km - all of which incorporate the Australian National Road Championship Course at Mt Buninyong. There will also be a 2.5 hour relay around the lake for more social riders.

Tha Ballarat Cancer Research Centre has a vision to unlock the cancer riddle through innovative cancer research. In collaboration with research centres worldwide, The Centre is at the forefront of working to unlock the cancer riddle by attracting the best minds in cancer research to work in Ballarat.

It's not too late to register. Weather reports indicate no flash floods, extreme heat or gale force winds!

Remember, the entire entry fee is given to the Ballarat Cancer Research Centre.

Þ 2011 Cycle Classic will be held on Sunday 20 February 2011

Þ Registrations ARE open! - You can register here www.ballaratcycleclassic.com.au

Þ The highest individual fundraiser will be the lucky winner of a 42 inch LCD TV courtesy of Tanya Daniels The Good Guys
