KING DONATES TO FOUNDATION

King Financial Services in Canberra have made a donation of over $1000 to help establish a foundation that Michael Milton has dreamt about for decades.
Milton has a vision to get a small group of disadvantaged kids on snow each year and hopes to make the first trip in winter 2010.
"It's something I have been thinking about for a while. Skiing is an expensive sport and many kids simply don't have the resources to try it.
"Disabled WinterSport Australia does a great job of getting kids with disabilities on snow but they are largely self-funded. I'm interested in those for whom skiing is impossible.
"With a few more donations like the one from the King Charitable Trust, we should be able to get a few kids on snow for a week next winter," said Michael.
The finds will be administered by Disabled WinterSports Australia and, over the next few months, the format of the program will take shape.
