Home and Crash

Well I have been home for five days now and, as expected and feared, I have definitely crashed.
It's pretty normal for me to work hard while I am away, go into energy deficit and then get home and crash. The travel, the excitement, exposure to different cultures and new people, sleeping in different beds, managing my diet... it all takes a toll on my health and my energy levels.
After getting home from China I only had one night at home before heading to Sydney for work so there wasn't much time to rest. Then the kids got sick and passed it on to me so now I'm tired AND sick. Welcome home dad!
Let's hope I can recover quickly and bounce back into training for the Noosa Triathlon and my first Olympic distance race.
