MORE THAN A CENTURY'S WORK
AS patron of Pegasus Riding for the Disabled in Canberra, Michael was asked to officially unveil an honour board at Eastlake Football Club for volunteers who have given more than 20 years of service.
There were five recipients including Barbara Hinds (pictured with Michael) and Bid Williams who have been Pegasus volunteers for 34 years.
"Twenty years is amazing but 34?" said a speechless Michael.
"That there are six people with those kind of stats - 136 years service between them - is not only a testament to their dedication but also a real credit to Pegasus and the organisation's ability to retain volunteers."
